Atelier JP represents me as an artist and pays homage to my homes; France and the studio space the family shares attached to the back of our house. Atelier translates to "studio of art, workshop, a space where one works with one's hands." To me, it's pretty simple: it's a space of comfort where you feel free to let your imagination travel. This is where I can create, be imaginative and bring fantasy, goals and ideas to life. There are no boundaries; no restrictions; having a space where you can surprise yourself. People say doing art is like therapy. It is - when you are in therapy you don't know what you will say. Art is the same; I surprise myself. I change the space, my mediums, my art; and I agree with my instincts, [I say to myself] "Okay, let's do it."
